AnaJet, Inc. has identified potential safety hazards/concerns associated with its mPower and mPower i-series Direct to Garment Printer including that:
- The product, which includes a laser component, has not yet been labeled as compliant with laser regulations enforced by the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) of the United States Food and Drug Administration.
- The product does not include labeling showing its certification by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL).
- Certain internal electrical components are at risk of shorting and overheating. It is possible this may pose a fire hazard.
