StarPrintHT banner material, available from GSG (SGIA Expo Booth 2461), offers strength, printability and economy for indoor and outdoor signs as well as billboards. It’s constructed of high-tenacity, 840-denier polyester yarn, woven into 9 x 9 thread-count scrim fabric encapsulated in PVC film. It has the same or better tear and tensile properties as other 13-ounce materials using 1,000-denier yarn. It features a no-crack low temperature of -20 degrees C, is customized for NFPA 701 flame resistance and is RF-weldable. Designed to be front-lit, the single-sided material comes in gloss and matte finishes. It has a smooth, natural white print face with a slight scrim pattern and is solvent, eco-solvent, UV, latex and screen printable. StarPrint is available in 164-foot long, forward-wound rolls, in 39”, 54”, 60”, 63”, 98” and 126” standard widths, as well as 30” by 82-foot rolls.
