Consolidated Label Co., a manufacturer of custom labels in the United States, has added an HP Indigo 8000 digital press to its production line-up to keep up with increased demand for digitally printed custom labels. This latest addition will enable the company to expand production capacity, reduce set-up costs, and improve turnaround time.
The HP Indigo 8000 press offers end-to-end label production at up to 262 feet per minute - more than double the speed of other narrow-web digital label presses. Its "HP ElectroInk" technology is a digital color printing process that matches gravure printing, delivering high resolution printing, and perfect registration.
Brand color standards can also be easily met by using up to 7 ink stations and a color gamut that reaches up to 97% of PANTONE colors. Not only does the HP Indigo 8000 excel in color quality, accuracy, and repeatability, it can print a wide range of applications with easy and quick changeovers, such as pressure-sensitive labels and shrink sleeves.
