OKI Data Americas Introduces New Digital Color Printer for Textile Transfer Printing

OKI Data Americas announces the availability of the new C831TS — a compact digital color printer specifically designed for textile transfer printing. With full-color printing capabilities, fast print speeds and CMYK output on transfer media up to 11 inches x 17 inches, the C831TS (Transfer System) delivers output quickly and is suited for t-shirt and apparel decorating. The C831TS prints on transfer sheets that can be used with a wide variety of fabric substrates. It features high-definition color printing and Single Pass Color^™ technologies with a straight-through paper path. With customized support for textile transfer media, users can set-up jobs quickly to increase productivity. Highlights of the C831TS include:

• Full color printing at up to 8 pages per minute on 8.5 inch x 11 inch transfer media, and up to 6 pages per minute on 11 inch x 17 inch transfer media
• Compact design
• Multi-purpose feeder holds up to 100 sheets
• Single Pass Color digital technology and straight-through paper path to handle a variety of approved transfer media
• PostScript^® 3^™ and PCL^® 6 emulations

The C831TS is available for limited distribution, and can be purchased from Graphics One, LLC and ISW, and supports select Neenah, Forever and GraphicsOne transfer media.
