Paradigm Imaging Group is pleased to announce the newest UV printer from SID Signs, the Apollo UV 1312 printer. This new printer was designed for printing the most commonly requested UV jobs, such as PS, PVC, MDF, foam board, acrylics, aluminum, glass and more. The 51 inch x 49 inch (1,300 millimeter x 1,260 millimeter) print area and maximum media height of 1.6 inches (40 millimeters) makes the Apollo UV 1312 an ideal solution for print shops with limited floor space who want to expand their revenue opportunities by offering a broader range of printing applications.
“I really like the positioning of the SID Apollo because there are many print shops that are looking to get into UV printing but they may not have the flop space or don’t have the budget for a full-sized UV printer," says Randy Geesman, president of Paradigm Imaging Group. "The SID Apollo will effectively address this segment of the market.”
The new SID Apollo UV 1312 printer includes nine individual vacuum zones, an LED UV lamp with a life span of 20,000 hours, Epson print-head technology and uses UV curable inks. The white ink option (spot, background or overprint layers) allows printing on a broad range of substrates. PhotoPRINT RIP software is also included.
